Refund Policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to the Taqyid platform sold by DIGIQUEST CONSULTING (operating under the brand Taqyid). It forms part of our Terms of Service. Subscriptions are billed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) on a monthly or annual cycle, as selected at checkout.

1. Early access programme

Access during the early access programme is free of charge. No payment is collected and, as a result, no refund applies to that period. This policy only concerns paid subscriptions taken out after the early access programme, under the conditions set out in section 7 of the Terms of Service.

2. Monthly subscriptions

A monthly subscription may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month: you keep access until that date and are not charged for the following month.

No pro-rata refund is made for a billing month that has already started. The month in progress is due in full, whatever the date of cancellation within that month.

3. Annual subscriptions

3.1 Full refund within 14 days of a first annual subscription

When an organisation takes out its first annual subscription, it may request a full refund within 14 days of the payment date. The request must reach us within that period (see section 5). Once refunded, access to the paid plan ends.

This 14-day window applies to the first annual subscription only. It does not apply to annual renewals.

3.2 After the 14-day window

After 14 days, an annual subscription may still be cancelled, but the year already paid is not refunded, in whole or in part. Access continues until the end of the paid annual period and the subscription is not renewed.

4. Founding discount

A refund or cancellation interrupts the subscription. The conditions under which the founding discount ("40% off for life") survives an interruption are set out in section 7 of the Terms of Service ("Founding discount guarantee") and are not modified by this policy.

5. How to request a refund

Refund requests are handled by Taqyid, not by Stripe. Stripe is our payment service provider and does not accept refund requests from customers directly.

Send your request by email to billing@taqyid.com from the email address associated with your Taqyid account, stating:

  • the name of your organisation as it appears on the invoice;
  • the invoice or payment date concerned;
  • whether you also wish to close the account.

We confirm receipt by email. The date the request is received determines whether it falls within the 14-day window in section 3.1.

6. How refunds are paid

Payments are processed by our payment service provider, Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Refunds are returned to the payment method used for the original payment, in the same currency (MYR). No refund is paid in cash or to a different payment method. The time it takes for a refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.

7. Statutory rights

This policy does not limit any right you may have under mandatory applicable law. Where such a right is more favourable than this policy, it prevails. Disputes are handled as described in section 14 of the Terms of Service.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Changes apply to subscriptions taken out or renewed after the date of the change; they do not reduce the refund rights attached to a payment already made.
